THE VILLAGE
The little village of Serres, situated between Gap and Sisteron, has about 1200 inh., The river Buëch runs through the village which is overlooked
by a rock of an unusual shape, La Pignolette (and unusual name),. Serres has preserved its church, narrow streets and beautiful medieval houses (12-13th century) (don't miss the doors).
Serres' history is very interesting. It is surrounded by mountains and countless views over the valley and the village. On Saturday mornings, there is a lively "Provence" local market.

THE CONCERTS
The concerts are held in the open air theatre of La Germanette, just outside the village, on the road to Sisteron.
The open air theatre is called : Théâtre de Verdure, base de loisirs de la Germanette. As you can see, it
is a very beautiful site, between the lake and the mountains. No problem to find it : lights everywhere by night and the way to the concerts is indicated everywhere from the village. Of course, there is unlimited free parking.
The moonlight and the landscape during the concerts make them exceptional. To go there, from Serres,
follow direction Sisteron, La Germanette is on the right hand side. In case of bad weather (exceptional), the concerts will take place in the "Salle des Fêtes" of the village.
