Tigran HAMASYAN (2003, 2004)

Tigran's talent as a jazz pianist was first revealed in 2000 at a Jazz Festival in Yerevan. In 2003, he won first prize at the Juan-les-Pins competition in the intrumental jazz category, so this 17-year old is well on his way to go to the top of his profession. In his first album, Introducing Tigran Hamasyan, he shows a real maturity as a jazz pianist with his very own style which owes much to the influence of predecessors such as Bill Evans and Keith Jarret, and to the sound of his home country.

Philippe and Christophe LE VAN (2003, 2004)

In Philippe (drums) and Christophe (bass), France has one of the most solid rhythm duo. Philippe has performed with Didier Lockwood, Michel Petrucciani, Haze Greenfield, Christophe accompanied Dee Dee Bridgewater, Michel Legrand, Ray Charles, to name but a few.
